Background

In 1986 it was felt by Enfield Youth Service that young people needed an accessible one stop shop that would service the advice, information and support needs of young people.

Two-e was originally based at 2e (hence the name) Balham Rd, opposite Edmonton Green shopping centre and later in 1990 it moved just across the road to 2e South Mall (a strong case for keeping the name). In 1992 due to a drop in funding, the project moved to the Craig Park Youth Centre in Lawrence Rd. Edmonton and it remained there until July 2002 when it moved to it's present location in Ponders End.

Two-e has steadily built up a reputation in the borough for providing excellent support services for young people who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. Two-e is not a counselling service but young people can come and talk privately and confidentially to a youth worker who will help clarify issues by going through options and choices available to them thereby enabling the young person to come to the right decision for them.

Two-e has strong links with all organisations working with young people and works in partnership with schools, colleges, Connexions, the Health Authority, Housing Associations, Alone in London and The Enfield Law Centre to provide a range of services appropriate to the needs of young people.
